Introducing Our Forest Yurt
(not for wimps)

You can explore the swimming holes
of the South Yuba River, as well as the trails to the surroundings
mountains, wetland wildlife refuge, or alpine lakes. Return to our
Yurt and cozy-up to the gas fireplace in this spacious, comfortable
setting as you listen to the river sounds below.
This remote Yurt offers a blend of comfort and adventure. You will need to pack your equipment and
supplies down a 1/4 mile trail unless you have a 4x4 with clearance in the Summer and a snowmobile in the Winter.
Rules and guidelines will be posting in the
Yurt that you'll be responsible for following.
We supply:

The shelter

Small two burner camp stove

Propane
fireplace with a 20 gallon allotment of propane (conservation required
however additional quantities available for purchase).

20 gallons of fresh mountain
water (again conservation required and additional quantities
available).
Dish washing station

Bear box with cooler

Composting Toilet in outdoor shed
You need to supply:

Light weight or freeze-dried food recommended
