The beautiful glen has a large community BBQ area for picnics and parties. It’s an easy walk to our incredible vista wedding party ceremony and reception area. Don’t forget your camera, because you will want to take pictures of the serene and dramatic beauty of huge granite Old Man Mountain in the distance and the crystal clear blue waters of the South Yuba River falls below your feet.  The stunning Granite Falls of the South Yuba River are just steps from your back door. Experience the seclusion of a mountain wilderness cabin with all the comforts of a sierra summit resort. We also offer tent cabins and camping beside the beautiful South Yuba River on our expansive 160 acre California high sierra wilderness area.

Relax on the wood deck and enjoy the N. California high wilderness scenery.  At around six thousand feet, in summer you can enjoy beautiful fern covered woods and meadows.  This is also a wonderland in winter.  Granite Mountains and gigantic boulders create a dramatic backdrop and striking glacier smoothed granite, leading to the beautiful waterfalls and deep granite pools on the south fork of the Yuba River, great for swimming, hiking, or snow-shoeing in the winter.  Each luxury cabin is equipped with a gas grill located on the deck that can be used year-round.  

These comfortable sierra cabin rentals feature a simple efficiency providing a perfect balance of luxury and comfort. The kids will love the loft with an assortment of twin and queen-sized beds, and you will love the queen-size Serta Perfect Sleeper bed, the private bathrooms with a jetted tub, and the in-room warmth from a cast-iron gas fireplace on a thermostat.  We provide a mini fridge, microwave, coffee maker, hot pot for tea water. A table with two chairs, deck chairs, an outdoor fire ring, and patio-table sitting area in the summer.

Enjoy our close proximity to the Donner Summit Lodge and Ski Resort, Sugar Bowl, Boreal Ski Resort, Soda Springs, and Royal Gorge, and close to Truckee, Squaw Valley, and Lake Tahoe, as well as the culture of the Gold Country in Nevada City/Grass Valley. We are at the gateway to the high country of the mountains near Grouse Lakes Recreation Area, the incredible Nisenan Valley, close to the metropolitan areas of Sacramento, San Francisco, and Reno, and just up the hill from Roseville, Rocklin and Auburn.
